ASSOCIATE HEALTH EDITOR

We’re looking for an enthusiastic cross-platform Associate Health Editor for our print titles, Woman’s World (a weekly magazine that outsells all other magazines at newsstand) and First for Women (the third bestselling magazine at newsstand). There will also be an expectation to produce health stories for both magazines’ websites.

You will: generate fresh, well-researched ideas, assign to freelance writers, interview experts and write and edit health and nutrition copy. You’ll also be a part of the team responsible for our Woman’s World weekly weight-loss features, a main driver of revenue across both print and digital platforms.

We’re looking to fill this job immediately.

Desired Skills & Experience

Our ideal candidate has an interest in health and nutrition, with 2 to 3 years’ experience, preferably with health and wellness content, with outstanding writing, research, communication and organizational skills. We’re looking for a detail-oriented multitasker who is eager to learn creative ways to communicate to the mass consumer using print in the internet age. Also key: the ability to work well on a team and jump in where needed to meet tight deadlines, as well as a passion for delivering information that helps women live healthier and happier lives.

This is a remote/hybrid position; candidates with proximity to our Englewood Cliffs, NJ, offices will be available to work in office several times a week.

Salary: $60,000
